Recorded on May 1, at Hien Luong Bridge - Highway 17 once cutting off the country, the crowd of people continuously extended to visit, take souvenir photos and listen to explanations about historical sites.
The image of the red flag with a yellow star flying, groups of tourists wearing shirts printed with the image of the Fatherland, holding high the slogan "National Pride", "I love Vietnam" has created a vivid picture of patriotism, connecting today's generation with the memories of our ancestors.

Not only the elderly but many young people also choose the journey back to the source to better feel the value of independence and freedom. They recorded moments on the historic bridge, shared them on social networks as a way to spread patriotism and recall the indomitable tradition.
Mr. Tran Quoc Viet (29 years old, from Nam Dinh) said: "I have read a lot about Hien Luong Bridge, but this is the first time I have been there. The feeling is very special, proud and appreciative of the value of peace that the previous generation exchanged for blood and bones".

At the special national relic of Quang Tri ancient citadel - where 81 days and nights of fierce red summer fire in 1972, the crowd of people coming to offer incense to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs was equally large. Some are veterans who fought here, some are relatives of martyrs, and some even have families who are coming to the sacred "red address" for the first time. Many people could not hide their emotions when listening to the tragic historical accounts.
Mr. Le Van Si (Nghe An) shared: "Coming to the ancient citadel, listening to the story of the young people who heroically sacrificed, I was really choked up. The journey to this source is very meaningful to us.

Ms. Cap Thi Thien Trang - Head of the Management Board of the General Secretary Le Duan and Quang Tri Ancient Citadel Memorial Site - said that in April, there was a peak day of relic site welcoming more than 6,500 visitors. The Management Board has mobilized all forces to be on duty day and night to serve the people of the whole country.
