Last year's holiday coincided with the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, so many tourists chose Hanoi as a destination, causing the number of visitors to Sam Son to be quite small. This year, the number of visitors has returned to increase again" - representative of the Culture and Social Affairs Department of Sam Son ward informed.
According to this representative, in order to attract tourists during this year's National Day holiday on September 2nd, the locality organizes a series of activities such as opening a cultural space - walking - night market; Kite Festival "Flying with the Sea Wind" taking place from August 30th to September 1st and a fisheries experience space on shore. In particular, the art program combined with fireworks is expected to take place on the evening of September 1st.
According to records of Lao Dong Newspaper reporters, on the first day of the first 3 days of the National Day holiday on September 2nd, the number of visitors to Sam Son was still quite sparse. However, on August 30th and August 31st, the number of tourists flocking to this tourist area increased significantly.
Representatives of Sam Son Ward People's Committee said that during this year's National Day holiday on September 2nd, the locality is expected to welcome about 350,000 visitors.
In 2026, Sam Son aims to welcome more than 9 million visitors, with tourism revenue of nearly 19,000 billion VND.
