Bringing the body of a male tourist from Phu Quy island to Phan Thiet port

Binh Thuan - The body of a male tourist who died after being swept away by waves while SUP rowing on Phu Quy island was brought to Phan Thiet port by a ship and his family took him back to Lam Dong.

At 3:00 p.m. on November 4, the cargo ship carrying the coffin containing the body of the male tourist (from Lam Dong province) docked at Phan Thiet port (Binh Thuan). The coffin was then taken to his hometown in Lam Dong for his family to bury.

This is the incident where a group of 6 tourists rowing SUP on Phu Quy Island were swept away by waves on the afternoon of October 26. 5 tourists were rescued safely, while Mr. C.H.M (born in 2005, residing in Lam Dong) went missing, and on the afternoon of November 3, his body was found stuck in the breakwater on Phu Quy Island. The police have conducted the procedures for an autopsy and collected samples.

After the police completed the autopsy, the family organized a funeral for the victim; on the morning of November 4, the coffin was put on a cargo ship to leave the island and return to the mainland.
