    Ha Tinh - While swimming in the river, a mother and child unfortunately drowned and died tragically.

    Mr. Duong Ngoc Hoang - Chairman of Phuc Trach Commune People's Committee said that 2 citizens of Phuc Trach commune (mother and child) unfortunately drowned while swimming in the river in Phu Lam village, Huong Khe commune.

    Accordingly, at about 2 pm on July 8, Ms. D. T. H. C (born 1993, residing in Phuc Linh village, Phuc Trach commune) and her son, L.Q. B (born 2016), were swimming in the Ngan Tru River (belonging to Phu Lam village, Huong Khe commune).

    While swimming, due to strong river flow, Ms. C and her child were swept away by the water. Discovering the incident, local people urgently sought ways to rescue them. However, when Ms. C and baby B were brought ashore, both had died.

    Upon receiving the news, representatives of the government and functional forces were present to verify and clarify the cause.

    Currently, functional agencies have completed the procedures and handed over the bodies of the 2 victims to their families to organize funerals according to local customs.
