On June 27, according to reporters of Lao Dong Newspaper, the resettlement area in Lien Vinh residential group, Ha Huy Tap ward has completed construction. Drainage system, lighting, transformer station have been installed, traffic roads have been paved with asphalt and painted lines.
Machinery has been removed from the construction site, workers have also left temporary shelters after nearly a year of sticking to the construction of the first resettlement area of the North-South high-speed railway project through Ha Tinh province.
This is a resettlement area with an area of 3.8 hectares including 57 residential land plots, with a total investment of 37 billion VND, which started construction on August 19, 2025, invested by Ha Huy Tap Ward People's Committee.

Mr. Nguyen Nhat Linh - Vice Chairman of Ha Huy Tap Ward People's Committee said that up to this point, the resettlement area in Lien Vinh residential group has completed construction.
Infrastructure including roads, lighting systems, domestic electricity, and clean water have ensured the housing construction of people when implementing site clearance for the North-South high-speed railway project through the area.
Also according to Mr. Linh, for the remaining 2 resettlement areas, the locality has planned and completed the preparation of preliminary design documents, submitting them to departments and branches for appraisal.
The North-South high-speed railway project is expected to pass through Ha Huy Tap ward, about 9 km long, affecting more than 1,000 land plots of all kinds with a total area of 71 ha. Among the households whose land is recovered, there are 207 households under resettlement.
To serve site clearance work, Ha Huy Tap ward proactively plans to build 3 resettlement areas.
According to information from the Ha Tinh Department of Construction, based on the approved pre-feasibility study report dossier, the high-speed railway project on the North-South axis section passing through Ha Tinh has a length of about 103.42 km, passing through 23 communes and wards.
Through preliminary review, Ha Tinh is expected to recover about 764 hectares of land, including 84 hectares of residential land; affecting about 1,800 households, nearly 1,300 households must be relocated and resettled; relocating over 4,000 graves... The cost of site clearance for the project is estimated at over 8,400 billion VND.
Based on the preliminary boundary of site clearance, localities plan to build 35 resettlement areas with a total area of nearly 80 hectares.
Up to now, resettlement areas have been approved for planning, especially the resettlement area in Lien Vinh residential group, Ha Huy Tap ward has completed construction. The remaining resettlement areas have basically completed preliminary design documents, submitted to competent authorities for appraisal and approval.

According to the Ha Tinh Department of Construction, because the site clearance milestones have not been handed over by the investor; the route direction and works on the route at some locations are not consistent, so the measurement, inventory, pricing, and approval of compensation plans for the North-South high-speed railway project passing through the province are not sufficient for implementation.
