On November 24, due to the impact of prolonged floods, the pass connecting the eastern area of Gia Lai province with Dak Lak province (from Quy Nhon to the old Song Cau town) had many landslides, endangering traffic.
In some sections, rocks and soil from the positive slope overflowed onto the road, forming a thick layer of gravel and rocks, making it difficult for vehicles to move.
In addition, the road also recorded many locations that were severely damaged, with "potholes", peeling road surfaces and water continuously flowing through from above, causing slippery conditions and posing a potential risk of accidents.
The authorities have placed warning signs and instructed people to slow down when passing through this area.

Currently, the road management units are urgently organizing repairs, clearing soil and rocks and reinforcing points at risk of further landslides to ensure traffic safety.
While waiting for the full handling, the authorities recommend that people limit traveling through the pass area, especially during heavy rain or bad weather, to avoid risks.
The repair work is being continuously deployed to soon completely restore this vital traffic route.
