The Bac Tan Uyen - Phu Giao - Bau Bang dynamic road is a key project connecting the three northern localities of Binh Duong province. The route started construction in 2021, inaugurated and put into use at the end of September 2024.
After a year of use, the road has shown signs of deterioration. There are some sections along the road with many potholes, even deep holes.
Recorded at the intersection of DT.741 road to Bau Bang (in Phuoc Thanh commune, Ho Chi Minh City), there are many potholes, even holes about 15cm deep.
Meanwhile, the section near Song Be bridge at Km12 + 484.73, many potholes appeared on the road. Scattered along this route are also potholes, peeling rocks creating deep holes on the road surface
Vehicles passing through here must be skillful in avoiding to avoid falling into these potholes. In some sections, people picked grass and left it on the road to warn.
Local people said that a traffic accident had just occurred here. The man riding a motorbike at night ran through a pot of chicken and broke the motorbike ring. Both the person and the vehicle fell in the middle of the road.
According to the reporter's records, this route mainly passes through the agricultural area in the North of Ho Chi Minh City, with not much traffic.
Currently, the project investor has grasped the information about the incident and directed the contractors to record it to have a plan to patch it for repair.
It is known that the project is about 48 km long, 6 lanes wide, and has a design speed of 80 km/h. The project has a total investment of more than 5,000 billion VND.
The starting point of the project is at Tan Thanh intersection with DT746 Bac Tan Uyen road and the end point is at Bau Bang. Of which, the section passing through Bau Bang is about 8.6km long, the section passing through Phu Giao is about 30km, the rest is the section passing through Bac Tan Uyen about 10km.
According to records, this is one of the oldest and longest 6-lane roads in Binh Duong province. When first put into use, the route was assessed as as beautiful as a highway.
