On October 29, Mr. Le Tien Manh - Chairman of the People's Committee of Ia Pa commune (Gia Lai) - said that after the press's reflection, the Inspection Team of the Department of Construction and related units directly inspected 2 newly repaired and damaged traffic works, which were accused by the people of showing signs of embezzlement.
Through inspection, no signs of withdrawal were found as reported by the citizen, because 1 project (Quang Trung Street) was under warranty; the remaining project (Hung Vuong Street) was under construction and had not been accepted or paid.

"After the inspection by the Department of Construction, the commune will review, verify again, and synthesize opinions to respond to the citizen's complaint," said Mr. Manh.
According to the Chairman of Ia Pa Commune People's Committee, the Department of Construction requested to report the inspection results to the Department before November 15, and at the same time, a team was established to clearly identify the responsibilities of relevant parties and propose solutions.
As Lao Dong has reported, from the provincial decentralized capital, in May 2025, the People's Committee of the old Ia Pa district (now Ia Pa commune, Gia Lai) invested in repairing Hung Vuong and Quang Trung streets with a total cost of 2.2 billion VND, each route 1.1 billion VND.
These two projects are invested by the old Ia Pa District Investment and Construction Project Management Board (now the Ia Pa Area Investment and Construction Project Management Board); Quang Minh Tuan Company Limited is the construction unit and Quang Minh Phat Joint Stock Company is the supervision consultant.
The project will be constructed in 90 days, completed and put into use from mid-August 2025. However, after only a short time of operation, the two routes have appeared damaged, peeling and sunken, affecting people's travel and causing public skepticism about the quality of the project.
Upset by this situation, Mr. Tran Van Gi. (born in 2019, residing in Gia Lai province) has filed a complaint with the authorities. In the petition, Mr. Gi. accused Mr. P.C.S - Director of the old Ia Pa District Investment and Construction Project Management Board - of showing signs of lax management and lack of responsibility in the project implementation process, leading to construction in violation of approved design documents, cuts and signs of project leakage.
In response to the above incident, Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan requested the relevant agencies and localities to urgently clarify the information reported by the press about the quality of the two routes.
