According to statistics from the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board, Tra Da Industrial Park currently has about 1,900 workers working at companies and factories.
The industrial park has been basically filled, with more than 63 projects: 46 projects have come into operation, 13 projects are under construction and 4 projects are carrying out procedures after being granted investment policy decisions and investment certificates. The total registered investment capital reached about 3,590 billion VND.

The projects here mainly focus on the following industries: granite production, agricultural product processing, wood processing, etc.
Although it is a key industrial park, attracting investment in the province, traffic on Ngo Quyen and Ly Thuong Kiet streets, the main axis entering and exiting the industrial park, is currently seriously degraded.
During the rainy season, the road is muddy, full of potholes; During the dry season, the dust is everywhere, greatly affecting people's lives and the transportation of goods to and from industrial parks.

Mr. Nguyen Tai (Bien Ho commune) shared: "The traffic volume in and out of Tra Da industrial park is very large, mainly trucks, container trucks carrying goods and export products.
However, the road is narrow and degraded, with peeling plastic surfaces in patches. During the rainy season, many low-lying water holes appear 3040 cm deep, 12 m wide. Trucks and motorbikes often collapse holes, easily causing loss of control and accidents.
Ms. Mai Thi Linh, a worker in the industrial park, said: "At night, there are no lights on the road to the industrial park. Dump trucks and heavy trucks travel together with motorbikes from residential areas, so the road is very narrow, with a high risk of collisions and accidents. People hope the government will soon invest, upgrade and expand this important route."

At a recent meeting with the leaders of Gia Lai province, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Phuoc - Secretary of Pleiku Ward - said that the locality is reviewing and proposing to invest in 5 key transport projects with a total capital of more than 1,146 billion VND.
The projects include: Hung Vuong - Ba Trieu intersection, Hoa Lu intersection and Tran Van Binh, Ly Thuong Kiet, Ton That Thuyet streets...
After the merger, the Gia Lai Economic Zone Management Board is headed by Mr. Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. This unit is currently managing Nhon Hoi Economic Zone, Le Thanh International Border Gate Economic Zone and industrial parks: Phu Tai, Long My, Nhon Hoa, Hoa Hoi, Binh Nghi, Cat Trinh, Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh, Phu My, Hoai My, Tra Da, Nam Pleiku...
