According to the operating plan of Tan Son Nhat International Airport, on September 2, the airport is expected to serve 119,159 passengers with a total of 771 flights.
In which, the number of passengers to Tan Son Nhat is expected to reach 64,993 people, about 10,800 people higher than the departure direction. Specifically, there are 38,665 domestic passengers and 26,328 international passengers arriving at the airport.
On the departure route from Tan Son Nhat, the expected number of passengers is 54,166 people, including 29,405 domestic and 24,761 international passengers.
According to the exploitation allocation plan, domestic passengers are served at terminals T1 and T3, while international flights are operated at terminal T2.

On September 2nd, Terminal T1 is expected to serve 15,873 passengers, while Terminal T3 serves 22,792 passengers. At Terminal T2, the number of international visitors is expected to reach 26,328 people.
Thus, the airport's three terminals alone will receive a very large number of passengers on the last day of the holiday. People with flight schedules on this day need to be proactive about travel time, especially for flights during busy hours.
Tan Son Nhat International Airport said that the operating plan is built based on the flight schedules of airlines, in order to proactively organize passenger service and coordinate operations between terminals on National Day.
