According to statistics from the Quang Ninh Provincial Border Guard, by early afternoon on October 5, the whole province had 7,442 vehicles with 14,848 crew members safely anchored.
The Border Guard force has also mobilized 1,412 workers on aquaculture cages and cages, along with 888 crew members of 44 foreign ships and 377 crew members of 37 Vietnamese ships (currently operating in the Hon Gai and Cam Pha port areas) to take shelter from the storm.

For 162 tourists, including 3 foreign tourists staying on islands in Co To Special Zone, the Border Guard has coordinated with local authorities to arrange accommodation to ensure the safety of tourists.
In the Tran Island area, the Tran Island Border Guard Station organized working groups with 60 officers and soldiers traveling by electric car and boat to Tran village to propagate and guide 31 vehicles with 67 crew members to storm shelters.
The unit also coordinated to hold 6 houses; move and call on 4 aquaculture cages and 11 people to go ashore, transporting furniture and assets to help people get to safety.

In Mong Cai 1 ward, Tra Co Border Guard Station organized many working groups with dozens of officers and soldiers sticking close to the area to propagate and call for 349 vehicles with 683 fishermen to move to safe shelters and help people reinforce their houses to prevent storm No. 11.
According to the forecast, on the night of October 5 and early morning of October 6, storm No. 11 will directly affect the mainland of Quang Ninh province. Implementing the "4 on-site" motto, the provincial Border Guard is closely coordinating with functional forces, militia, medical forces... on duty 24/7, ready for rescue, ensuring the safety of people's lives and property.
