On November 17, Lao Dong's source said that the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang province issued document 1177 approving the investment project for commune health stations under the Investment Program for developing the grassroots health network in disadvantaged areas.
According to the document signed by Vice Chairman of Tuyen Quang Provincial People's Committee Hoang Viet Phuong, the total investment of the project is more than 192 billion VND. The implementation period is in the period of 2023-2025, invested by the Management Board of Investment and Construction of Civil and Industrial Works.
Of which, 25 new medical stations were built, including: Yen Son district (10 stations); Son Duong district (6 stations); Chiem Hoa district (6 stations); Na Hang district (2 stations); Ham Yen district (1 station). Repaired 6 degraded medical stations in Ham Yen, Na Hang, Chiem Hoa districts. Purchased additional medical equipment and machinery.
The newly built medical stations have an area of 1,000 to 5,000 m2, belong to a level 3 civil construction project, and have a lifespan of 20 to 50 years.
The project aims to strengthen the capacity of primary health care facilities. Aiming for universal health coverage, reducing pressure on upper-level health facilities.
