On August 20, Lang Son Provincial People's Committee said that it had agreed to the proposal of the Department of Construction on operating, operating and maintenance costs for the Bac Giang - Lang Son expressway, section Km45+100 - Km109+660.
The implementation scope includes 61.55 km of roads, more than 3 km of bridges with 33 projects and 31.43 km of service roads.
On the route, there are also 637 culvert locations with a total length of nearly 19.7 km, more than 27 km of lighting and nearly 140 km of corrugated iron barriers.
Units will repair damaged road surfaces, clean routes, repaint lines, clear trees and grass, treat soil subsidence and clear drainage systems. Signs, dragon gates, reflective equipment and guardrails are inspected, repaired or replaced when necessary.
More than 134,600 m2 of lawns and 386 shade trees along the route are also being cared for. Dead, broken or lost trees will be planted in addition.
At 33 bridges on the expressway, the work includes checking the technical condition; cleaning and maintaining expansion joints, abutments, pillars, bridge decks and drainage pipes; clearing the flow below. Cabins and all equipment at the toll station are also included in the maintenance plan.
The route is organized for patrol, operation and traffic assurance. When an accident occurs, the management unit is responsible for regulating vehicles, determining construction damage and cleaning the scene after rescue.
The estimated value implemented from the beginning of January to the end of December 2026 is 23.9 billion VND. Settlement costs will be determined according to the actual volume after inspection and acceptance.
Bac Giang - Lang Son BOT Joint Stock Company is assigned to approve the estimate and be responsible for the content and value of the approval.
This expense will be supplemented and updated to the total investment capital of the project, as a basis for calculating when adjusting the toll collection period.
The Lang Son Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board directly supervises the implementation of obligations of investors and project enterprises. The Department of Construction is responsible for inspecting, guiding and urging the implementation process.
