Gia Lai - Corruption crimes in the economic and positional fields are still complex, so the province requests to enhance the supervisory and inspection role of Party committees and Party organizations at all levels.

Handling corruption without forbidden zones

According to Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee, in the province, factors and potential risks causing insecurity and social disorder, economic crime, high-tech crime... are still developing complicatedly. Organized crime, crime disguised as criminal enterprises uses many sophisticated tricks.

In the first 6 months of 2026, for corruption and economic and environmental violations, the Provincial Police discovered and handled 138 cases, 153 subjects violating the law; 149 cases, 192 subjects violating the law on environment and food safety; compared to the same period in 2025, an increase of 166 cases (287/121 cases).

The situation of law violations and crimes of corruption, economy, and environment in the province has highlighted violations such as: taking advantage of positions and powers to create fake dossiers, books, and documents to appropriate property occurring in schools; forcing others to give money occurring in the field of minerals.

Crimes taking advantage of the open regulations of the Enterprise Law to promote socio-economic development in the province, the lack of strict inspection and control by functional agencies to illegally trade value-added invoices in the field of natural resources to evade taxes and illegally profit; crimes violating regulations on exploration and exploitation of natural resources...

To reduce and repel crime, Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee requests agencies and units to do a good job of political and ideological education, cadre management, tightening discipline and order, and strictly complying with work orders.

In which, clearly define the responsibilities of each level and sector, associated with the responsibilities of the heads of agencies and units in preventing and combating crimes; integrate the results of crime prevention and combat, law violations in implementing socio-economic development policies of the locality.

Improving the effectiveness of supervision by Party committees and Party organizations

Forces and sectors, including: Police, Border Guards, Customs, State Bank, Science and Technology, Market Management... need to strengthen coordination and data sharing in preventing and combating organized crime and crime disguised as businesses.

Functional sectors need to promptly detect loopholes and shortcomings in policies and state management mechanisms to propose amendments and supplements.

In addition, in June 2026, the Party Committee of Party agencies of Gia Lai province also issued Plan No. 60-KH/ĐU, the content of implementing Resolution No. 04-NQ/TW dated April 1, 2026 of the 14th Party Central Committee on strengthening the Party's leadership over the work of preventing and combating corruption, wastefulness, and negativity in the new period.

In which, the Party Committee of provincial Party agencies requests strict implementation of citizen reception, dialogue, handling of petitions, recommendations, reflections, complaints, and denunciations under their authority; promoting the responsibility of the head in resolving issues arising from the grassroots level.

Party committees and grassroots Party organizations directly under them self-inspect, supervise, identify early, and prevent remotely manifestations of political ideology, morality, and lifestyle degradation within the internal ranks; rectify and handle violations right from the grassroots level and Party cells.

The Party Committees of provincial Party agencies also requested to improve the quality of inspection and supervision of Party committees and Party organizations, especially in areas and positions that are prone to negativity, corruption, and wastefulness.

At the same time, agencies and units in the area pay attention to preventing and overcoming the situation of wasting time, wasting opportunities, and wasting resources in the process of performing tasks.
