According to the plan, on March 28, Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee will organize an investment promotion conference in 2026 at the Provincial Convention Center, expected to attract more than 1,000 delegates, including about 700 domestic and foreign businesses and entrepreneurs.
This is one of the key activities within the framework of the Opening Week of the National Tourism Year - Gia Lai 2026, expected to create more motivation to attract investment capital and promote local economic growth.
At the conference, leaders of Gia Lai province will inform about investment attraction orientations in the coming time. Economic experts, diplomatic organizations and investors will analyze the advantages, development potential, investment - trade opportunities in Gia Lai; exchange views on orientations and strategies for developing the investment environment of Vietnam in general and Gia Lai in particular.
At the event, Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee is expected to award memorandums of understanding on investment cooperation to nearly 120 projects with a total registered capital of billions of USD; award investment policy decisions and investment registration certificates to nearly 130 projects with a total registered capital of more than 8 billion USD.
The conference also has side activities such as visiting booths displaying OCOP products, promoting tourism and surveying actual investment opportunities in the locality.
According to Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee, the event aims to affirm the province's determination to realize the goals and targets set out in the Resolution of the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, making Gia Lai a bright growth spot of the region.
This is also an opportunity for localities to comprehensively introduce potentials, advantages and development orientations; create conditions for domestic and foreign investors to learn about the investment environment, mechanisms, preferential policies and key investment attraction areas.
The event also opens up opportunities for businesses and units in the province to promote products, services and strong industries; strengthen connections with domestic and foreign partners, investors, and organizations.
