On October 21, Vice Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang assigned the task to the communes where the expressway passes through to urgently count, measure assets, confirm land origin, determine specific land prices...
Mr. Hoang emphasized: "The spirit is to make it easy to do first, do inter-regional and inter-plot work to facilitate construction organization, meeting the project's progress requirements; the goal is to basically complete site clearance by June 2026."
The Quy Nhon - Pleiku expressway project is about 125 km long, passing through 17 communes and wards of the province, with a total investment of more than 43,700 billion VND. To implement the project, about 942 hectares of land will be reclaimed, with an estimated compensation, support and resettlement cost of nearly VND4,900 billion. The entire route has 473 households affected by housing and needs to be relocated and resettled.
Gia Lai has a policy of implementing site clearance and resettlement for households in a harmonious direction of interests, creating consensus, limiting complaints and lawsuits affecting project implementation.

In the western border communes of Gia Lai, in October 2025, the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board will consult with the Department of Agriculture and Environment on the list of mineral mines in the border area, thereby developing a suitable selection plan to lower input prices, avoiding the shortage of construction materials that slow down the construction progress.
Legal procedures and site clearance related to the investment project are being accelerated, and it is expected that the groundbreaking ceremony will be held at the end of 2025 along with the Quy Nhon - Pleiku expressway project.
Regarding the construction of schools in border areas, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh requested ministries, branches and People's Committees of provinces to identify this as a "campaign" that needs to be implemented drastically and urgently, determined to start construction of schools in 2025 and complete before August 30, 2026.
