On July 30, the People's Committee of Gia Lai province issued an official dispatch on organizing the implementation of the standing department working in the old Gia Lai area.
The Provincial People's Committee agreed on the policy of temporarily organizing the standing departments of departments, branches and sectors under the province working in Gia Lai (old).
The arrangement of a standing department aims to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the management and operation of two-level governments; facilitate people when working with the government; at the same time, ensure the ability to quickly handle urgent situations or tasks due to the characteristics of large and isolated areas.
The organization of a standing department does not create a new organization, does not increase staff as well as leadership positions.
The standing department working in the old Gia Lai area performs the function of supporting the Provincial People's Committee and directors of departments and branches in implementing state management in a comprehensive and timely manner, in all areas under the functions and tasks of each department and branch in the area assigned.
The management scope is 77 communes and wards of Gia Lai (old). Regarding the main tasks, the standing department will help the Provincial People's Committee and departments and branches effectively implement policies and guidelines to agencies, units, organizations, localities and people in the area.
At the same time, this department will conduct inspections, guidance, urging, removing remaining obstacles and difficulties and advising on solutions to implement key programs, as well as urgent tasks in the area.
Regarding working facilities, in the immediate future, the standing departments of departments, branches and sectors will focus on working at the following locations:
Headquarters No. 02 Tran Phu Street, Pleiku Ward (old Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee headquarters): workplace of units such as the Provincial People's Committee Office, Department of Health, Department of Foreign Affairs, Department of Education and Training.
Headquarters No. 02 Hoang Hoa Tham Street, Pleiku Ward (old headquarters of the Department of Finance): arrange the workplace of the Department of Finance, Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions, Department of Industry and Trade, Department of Home Affairs.
Inter-agency headquarters at 17 Tran Hung Dao Street, Pleiku Ward: arrange the workplaces of the Department of Construction (1st and 5th floors), Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism (3rd floors), Department of Agriculture and Environment (4th, 6th, 7th floors), Provincial Economic Zone Management Board (2nd floor).
