The conference took place on July 30, chaired by Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy - Vice President of the Hanoi City Labor Federation.
Also attending were representatives of the leaders of the Trade Union Working Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City, representatives of the leaders of the two Trade Unions at the grassroots level and 70 grassroots trade unions from the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union to the Hanoi City Labor Federation for direct management.
The conference was held to quickly inform about the results of the workers' movement, civil servants, laborers and trade union activities; listen to the sharing, proposals and recommendations of grassroots trade unions; deploy trade union activities in the coming time.
In her opening speech, Vice President of the Hanoi City Labor Federation Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy happily welcomed the Trade Unions at the grassroots level and the grassroots trade unions under the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union under the Hanoi City Labor Federation.
Reporting at the Conference, Ms. Le Thi Kim Diep - Member of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi City Labor Federation, Head of the Trade Union Work Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City said that after the reorganization of the capital's Trade Union apparatus, the City Labor Federation is currently directly managing 6,349 grassroots trade unions with 629,022 union members, a large number of affiliated grassroots trade union units, and a variety of diverse types of activities...
To maintain, regularly and continuously the activities of the Capital Trade Union, the Standing Committee of the Hanoi City Labor Federation has directed the Trade Union Working Committee to build professional professional departments to advise and comprehensively deploy all aspects of activities to 100% of grassroots trade unions; at the same time, assign full-time trade union officials of the board to monitor and guide the activities of grassroots trade unions in the area, industry and field throughout the city.
Therefore, the situation and ideology of union members and workers in the city are relatively stable, believing in the leadership of the Party, the direction of the City Labor Federation, the management and operation of the State when implementing the two-level local government. The labor relations situation in the city during the month was maintained stably, without labor disputes, strikes, or collective work stoppages.
The City Labor Federation has developed 2 Projects: "Project to establish Commune and Ward Trade Unions" and "Project to establish Hanoi High-Tech Parks and Industrial Parks Trade Unions". Maintain the development of union members, establish grassroots unions, organize admissions for the "July Union Member Class".
Receive grassroots trade union records from the grassroots trade union directly transferred to the City Labor Federation for management (6,414 grassroots trade unions with 610,404 union members); receive 2 grassroots trade unions directly above the grassroots level and 70 grassroots trade unions with 18,628 union members from the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union to the Hanoi City Labor Federation for direct management.
At the Conference, a number of grassroots trade unions shared difficulties and problems in implementing activities in the process of streamlining the apparatus, especially issues related to seal marking procedures, seal changes, organizational structure, union financial revenue and expenditure, etc.

Vice President of the Hanoi City Labor Federation Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy suggested that grassroots unions focus on consolidating and perfecting the organizational apparatus; organize emulation to celebrate important events of the capital, the country and the Trade Union organization, thereby improving work efficiency, performing professional tasks well and taking better care of workers.
