On the afternoon of July 8, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Quang Tri Provincial Police, said that at around 4:00 p.m. on July 7, Tran Tien (born 2020, from Hue City) while playing at his uncle's house on Pham Van Dong Street, Lao Bao Commune, Quang Tri Province, suddenly got stuck in a drainage pipe under the yard. The family could not rescue him by himself, the situation was extremely critical.
Upon receiving the report, the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area No. 2 - Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Quang Tri Provincial Police quickly deployed forces and specialized equipment to the scene.
The soldiers reassured the child and quickly broke the concrete foundation, cut the plastic pipes to get him out.
After more than an hour of efforts, at 5:34 p.m., the authorities successfully rescued the child in a stable state of health, without injuries.
