The accident between a truck and a container truck occurred on the morning of December 22 on DT 741 road, passing through Phu Giao commune, Ho Chi Minh City.
Initial information, at around 5am the same day, a truck was traveling on DT 741 road, from Phuoc Hoa commune to Phu Giao commune, Ho Chi Minh City.
When reaching Phu Giao commune (the area passing through An Binh commune, the old Phu Giao district), the truck crashed into the rear of the container truck.
At the time of the accident, the front of the truck was stuck tightly to the rear of the container truck. The truck cabin was deformed, the driver was trapped inside.
Discovering the accident, passersby ran to find a way to get the truck driver trapped in the cabin out but could not. The incident must then be reported to the authorities.
Rescue forces then quickly arrived at the scene, took the driver out of the cabin, and the ambulance took the victim to the hospital.
At the scene, the front of the truck was deformed. The cause of the accident is being investigated by the police.
