The first incident occurred at 5:5 a.m. on December 18 at km 3+900 of Provincial Road 354 in An Khanh Commune. The motorbike driven by Mr. N.D.L (born in 1970, residing in Nghi Duong commune) from Nguyet bridge to Khue bridge fell onto the road and slid forward, then collided with a car driven by Mr. T.V.C (born in 1974, residing in Tien Lap village, An Khanh commune) in the opposite direction. As a result, Mr. L died on the spot.
At 7:05 a.m. the same day, a serious traffic collision also occurred on the above road section. A motorbike driven by P.V.T (born in 2008, residing in An Hung commune) from Khue bridge to Nguyet bridge collided with a motorbike driven by Mr. D.D.H (born in 1974, residing in An Khanh commune) changing direction. The collision injured both people. At 3:30 p.m. the same day, Mr. H died.
Another incident also occurred at 7:10 a.m. at km 13+200 of National Highway 10, Luu Kiem Ward. Mr. N.V.H.A (born in 1994, residing in An Lao commune) was driving a truck towards Dong Son intersection to Quang Ninh. At the Duc Trung clinic opening point, Mr. A's car collided with a motorbike driven by Mr. D.V.Q (born in 1964) behind Ms. D.T.K (born in 1962, also residing in Viet Khe commune). As a result, 2 people on the motorbike were injured. At 15:10 on the same day, Mrs. K died.
On the evening of December 18, 3 consecutive accidents occurred in the city. Accordingly, at 19:26, an accident occurred on the An Lao commune roads. The motorbike fell into a sign post on the sidewalk, injuring two 13-year-old teenagers living in An Lao commune.
At 8:45 p.m. on Dang Kinh Street, Hai An Ward, a motorbike also crashed into the curb of an electric pole in the middle of the road, injuring the driver.
At 10:35 p.m., on Nguyen Van Cu Street (Nhi Chieu Ward), a motorbike driven by N.D.T (born in 2003) traveling from National Highway 17B to Nhi Chieu, carrying P.T.D (born in 2007, residing in Nhi Chieu Ward) behind collided with a tractor-trailer traveling in the same direction. As a result, N.D.T died on the spot.
Currently, the causes of the accidents are being investigated and clarified.
