On the afternoon of December 20, Ho Chi Minh City Police are examining the scene and investigating the cause of a series of traffic accidents involving 3 trucks and 1 dump truck that just occurred in the area.
According to initial information, at noon of the same day, the dump truck was traveling on HL.412 (To Huu Street) from Bac Tan Uyen Commune to Tan Uyen Ward. While overtaking, it collided with a truck running in front and a truck running in the opposite direction.
The truck was hit in the back by a dump truck and pushed forward and hit the back of a garbage truck traveling in the same direction. The truck then overturned in the middle of the road.
People living near the scene quickly ran to rescue the driver from the vehicle. The accident injured two drivers.
At the scene, the front of the dump truck was deformed. A truck overturned in the middle of the road, another truck stopped on the sidewalk. The garbage truck only suffered minor deformities in the rear.
The accident was recorded by a camera at the scene. Immediately after the accident, the traffic police and local police arrived at the scene, regulated traffic, and investigated the cause.
At the scene of the accident, the road had two consecutive paint lines. According to regulations, vehicles are prohibited from crossing when the road has a painted line.
