On January 5, according to a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, the 220kV power grid crossing the North-South expressway project, Ham Nghi - Vung Ang section in Tan Lam Huong commune (Ha Tinh city) is being urgently pulled up to 2 new pole positions by dozens of technical staff and workers of Quoc Anh Construction Investment Company (Hanoi) to ensure safety for the expressway construction contractor.
A technical officer of Tu Lap Construction Company Limited - the contractor constructing the 3.9km expressway currently stuck in the 220kV power grid in Tan Lam Huong commune - said that Quoc Anh Construction Investment Company has announced that the wire pulling to the pole will be completed on January 5.
"This section of the power grid is 100m long. From tomorrow, we will focus on human resources and machinery to pour the roadbed and lay asphalt to make the line continuous," this person said.
The technical officer of Tu Lap Construction Company Limited also added that the 3.9km of highway that the unit undertook to construct has been basically completed, with only 100m remaining stuck with the power grid. If the past time had not been stuck, the unit would have completed the entire construction package of its contract.
As planned, Tu Lap Construction Company Limited will focus on completing the entire 3.9km expressway project before Lunar New Year 2025.
On January 5, Mr. Doan Ngoc Huong - Chairman of Thanh Binh Thinh Commune People's Committee (Duc Tho District) - said that the North - South Eastern Expressway project phase 2021 - 2025 is currently stuck at a 220kV power grid location through this locality.
