On the afternoon of July 22, Mr. Do Van Chung - Director of the Department of Home Affairs of Lam Dong province confirmed that the Department had received the resignation letter of Mr. Nguyen Nhan Ban, Director of Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 1.
Currently, the dossier is being submitted to competent authorities for consideration and settlement according to regulations.
According to the petition, Mr. Nguyen Nhan Ban is currently a Provincial Party Committee member, Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 1.
He requested the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee, the Provincial People's Committee and the Department of Home Affairs to consider and approve the resignation according to his wish.
The reason given by Mr. Ban is that both parents of the two families are old, in poor health, and need caregivers, while he himself has worked away from his family for more than 28 years.
Besides, recently, he often suffered from bone and joint pain and got gout.
According to him, his health condition is affected every time the weather turns cold, causing difficulties in the working process.
In the letter, Mr. Nguyen Nhan Ban said that during his working time, he always received the attention and direction of the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Committee and the coordination and support of departments and branches to complete the assigned tasks.
He also committed that, while waiting for competent authorities to consider, he will continue to fully perform his responsibilities, manage the agency, deploy tasks according to plan and carry out the handover of work according to regulations.
Currently, the settlement of Mr. Nguyen Nhan Ban's resignation application is being considered by the competent authorities of Lam Dong province according to regulations.
