On April 18, informing reporters, leaders of Bich Hao commune (Nghe An province) said that on the same morning, the Commune People's Council held a meeting and approved a resolution to dismiss Mr. Nguyen Khanh Thanh from the position of Chairman of Bich Hao Commune People's Committee.
Accordingly, Bich Hao Commune People's Committee has sent a document to the Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee proposing to issue a decision to dismiss Mr. Nguyen Khanh Thanh from his position according to his authority.
Previously, Mr. Nguyen Khanh Thanh had applied to resign from the position of Chairman of Bich Hao Commune People's Committee due to health reasons. This content was discussed and agreed upon by the Standing Committee of Bich Hao Commune Party Committee, and agreed upon by the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee.
A source said that previously, functional agencies had summoned Mr. Thanh to work to determine personal responsibility related to some public service activities.
Mr. Nguyen Khanh Thanh used to hold the position of Chairman of Thanh Xuan Commune People's Committee (old), before being transferred and arranged to hold the position of Chairman of Bich Hao Commune People's Committee.
