On August 4, the Project Management Board for Construction Investment of Transport and Agriculture and Rural Development of Dak Lak province (Board A) said that the total planned public investment capital for 2026 assigned to the unit, including capital allocated by ministries, is 3,538.9 billion VND. By the end of July 2026, Board A had disbursed 855.4 billion VND, reaching 24.14% of the plan.
In which, the capital source extended from previous years has disbursed 182.1/990.2 billion VND, reaching 18.39%; the planned capital for 2026 disbursed 673.3/2,548.7 billion VND, reaching 26.42%.
For capital managed by the province, the total assigned plan is 3,154.8 billion VND, Board A has disbursed 681.7 billion VND, reaching 21.61%. Meanwhile, capital allocated by the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment and the Ministry of Construction has disbursed 173.6/384.1 billion VND, reaching 45.21%.
Currently, Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee is implementing a 45-day and night campaign to accelerate the progress of site clearance for projects to remove land bottlenecks. The campaign aims to review 100% of key projects, thoroughly handle backlog dossiers and complete 90-95% of the site area.
Mr. Nguyen Tai Minh - Deputy Director of Board A said that with the support of the Provincial People's Committee in site clearance, many projects invested by Board A have been accelerated and speeded up. Including the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot expressway project and the project to renovate and upgrade Provincial Road 1.
According to Mr. Minh, Board A is developing a plan, coordinating with units and focusing on working with local authorities to remove obstacles in site clearance (GPMB), striving to complete at least 90-95% of the GPMB area in August according to each project. At the same time, Board A is determined to compensate for the unfulfilled volume in July.
Based on the site clearance plan, Board A directs units to develop detailed construction deployment plans for each project, each scope without obstacles and the scope with obstacles in site clearance, ensuring to meet the set progress.
At the same time, Board A will promptly adjust, handle and increase the mobilization of machinery and equipment to deploy construction, compensating for the delay due to site clearance problems.
Board A will also continue to resolutely handle slow-moving contractors who do not meet capacity requirements or are behind schedule, as has been done in the past time" - Mr. Minh said.
