The Hanoi Department of Construction has just announced the pilot adjustment of traffic organization at the Nguyen Huu Tho intersection - route 17, Bac Linh Dam Urban Area; Nguyen Huu Tho - Nghiem Xuan Yem intersection and surrounding areas in Hoang Liet ward.
According to this pilot plan, the Department of Construction will close the Nguyen Huu Tho signal light switch - route 17 of Bac Linh Dam Urban Area with concrete pillars, 36m long. Open a new turning point on Nguyen Huu Tho Street, 15m wide (about 270m from Nguyen Huu Tho signal light switch - route 17, Bac Linh Dam Urban Area) to organize vehicles to turn in front of the switch.
Vehicles on route 17 of Bac Linh Dam Urban Area need to go to Giai Phong Street: turn right continuously to Nguyen Huu Tho Street → turn around at Nghiem Xuan Yem signal light button - Nguyen Huu Tho → go to Giai Phong or take an internal road in the urban area → turn right continuously to Dang Xuan Bang Street → Dai Tu → Nguyen Huu Tho → turn around at Nghiem Xuan Yem signal light button - Nguyen Huu Tho → go to Giai Phong.
Vehicles from Nguyen Huu Tho, branches down to the elevated Ring Road 3 need to enter route 17 of Bac Linh Dam Urban Area: Nguyen Huu Tho Street → new opening point on Nguyen Huu Tho Street (270m from the intersection) → turn back to Dang Xuan Bang → Dai Tu → Bac Linh Dam Urban Area.
The pilot implementation period starts from September 14, 2025 to March 13, 2026.
