On August 27, Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh signed and issued a document on the implementation of Official Dispatch No. 145/CD-TTg dated August 24, 2025 of the Prime Minister.
The document clearly stated that, implementing the direction of the Prime Minister in Official Dispatch No. 145/CD-TTg dated August 24, 2025 on strengthening the assurance of safety, security, order, environmental sanitation, and health during the National Day on September 2, the City People's Committee directed as follows:
The Vice Chairmen of the City People's Committee, based on the assigned fields, direct departments, branches, People's Committees of wards, communes and related units to seriously, creatively and effectively implement the direction of the Central Steering Committee to celebrate major holidays and important events of the country, as well as the Prime Minister's Official Dispatch No. 139/CD-TTg dated August 21, 2025 on strengthening security and order assurance for the National Day on September 2.
Units that organize regular on-duty and have leaders in charge are responsible for ensuring creative, effective and timely handling of situations, especially complex issues that arise.
The City People's Committee assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the Department of Construction, People's Committees of wards, communes and related units to ensure adequate hygiene and garbage collection and increase hygiene capacity, creating a clean, safe and civilized space during the holidays; strengthen propaganda work, raise people's awareness of environmental sanitation; arrange resting places, avoid rain, avoid sunlight for people when going to public places, serve free bread, drinking water, umbrellas...
The city assigned the Department of Industry and Trade, the Department of Tourism, the People's Committees of wards and communes to coordinate with relevant units to mobilize volunteer forces, especially young people, women, veterans... to encourage the socialization of activities to support the free distribution of food and drinking water to serve people to watch parades, parades, other sightseeing, entertainment activities and arrange forces to be ready to support and guide people at locations where activities take place during the holidays.
Thereby contributing to showing gratitude to those who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, the prosperity and happiness of the people and the forces that are practicing day and night, participating in activities and protecting the great national holiday.
The City People's Committee assigned the City Police to preside over and advise the City People's Committee's Document to report to the Prime Minister (through the Government Office) daily (before 5pm) on the security and order situation.
