On March 18, Hanoi City Police held a conference to review the overall work of digital transformation and camera systems in the area.
Reporting at the Conference, Colonel Le Duc Hung, Head of the Department of Information and Communications - Hanoi City Police, said that he had closely followed the implementation progress of 15 basic goals by 2025 in the plan for the implementation phase of the digital transformation program in the People's Public Security until 2025, with a vision to 2030.
The City Police also directed the issuance of nearly 2,000 documents of all kinds to advise, seek opinions, and draft to the city's Ministries, departments, and branches.
At the same time, direct professional units to review the document system to serve the implementation of Project 6 to advise on perfecting policies, laws, providing digital services related to the Law on Identification, the Law on Data, the Law on Electronic Transactions, etc.
In addition, the City Police coordinated to give comments to relevant functional units in building and completing the Ministry of Public Security's E-Government framework, managing over 700 cameras of all kinds and has completed upgrading and modernizing the Command Information Center infrastructure to serve command work...
Speaking at the Conference, Major General Nguyen Thanh Tung - Director of Hanoi City Police directed units to continue developing and perfecting mechanisms and policies and requested to speed up the completion of the project " Deploying the expansion of surveillance camera systems at key targets of security and order in the area".
Complete the signing of the project implementation contract "Renovation and upgrading of the Traffic Control and Peripheral Equipment Center Phase 2". Complete the approval of the project policy "Upgrading the Hanoi City Police Command Information Center and installing surveillance cameras, traffic control commands to serve security and order, handling violations for the Traffic Police Department - Hanoi City Police".
The Director of the City Police also emphasized that units need to speed up the progress to ensure the implementation of communication lines, meeting the needs of serving the police work according to the 3-level model from the Ministry of Public Security to the grassroots police.
Regarding resources for digital transformation, Major General Nguyen Thanh Tung requested an urgent review of the number of officers trained in basic professional skills and skills proposed for training, ensuring the arrangement of digital transformation and telecommunications tasks at the commune-level police unit.
Organize specialized training courses, develop a team of commanders and officers working in information technology, digital transformation to improve the effectiveness of the police work of Hanoi City Police.
