Implementing the direction of the Hanoi People's Committee and functional agencies on ensuring traffic order and safety and improving the quality of public passenger transport services during the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026, Hanoi Transport Corporation (Transerco) has proactively developed and implemented a detailed service plan, suitable for the increasing travel demand of people during the Tet holiday.
From February 16, 2026 (December 29th of the lunar calendar) to the end of February 22nd, 2026 (January 6th of the lunar calendar), bus units of the Corporation have implemented toll exemption on 128 subsidized bus routes as directed by the city, operating a total of 35,527 bus trips. The number of passenger trips reached 360,975, equal to 123.9% compared to the same period in 2025.
At bus stations managed by Hanoi Bus Station Joint Stock Company and Hanoi Bus Station Exploitation Center, the total number of service trips reached 8,288 trips, of which 369 trips were increased, meeting the travel needs of 59,985 passengers.
In addition, the vehicle parking operation of Hanoi Parking Point Exploitation One Member Limited Liability Company is organized safely and effectively with a total of 117,300 vehicle trips, including 97,450 car trips and 19,850 motorbike trips.
