Hanoi is diverting traffic at flooded points after storm No. 4, including places flooded 90cm deep. Functional forces are on duty 24/24 hours.

Hanoi Department of Construction has just deployed a plan to divert and organize traffic in flooded areas due to the circulation of storm No. 4, including points flooded about 90cm deep. Functional forces are required to be on duty 24/24 hours to regulate and guide people.

On August 25, the Hanoi Department of Construction issued Notice No. 1293/TB-SXD on traffic organization plans at flooded points.

On provincial road 421B, the area of Kieu Phu, Quoc Oai and Phu Cat communes, the section Km11+460 is flooded about 90cm; branch N1 at Km11+400 is flooded about 20cm. Vehicles are prohibited from passing through the flooded area and are guided to travel along alternative routes.

At Km6+700 of provincial road 421B, vehicles are guided through Thach Than, Cau Van Quang, Nghia Huong, then to Hanoi or Xuan Mai. Vehicles from Xuan Mai to Quoc Oai are guided along Thang Long Avenue.

At Km16+00 of provincial road 421B, the alternative direction is Xuan Mai - National Highway 6 - Ho Chi Minh Road - Thang Long Avenue - Quoc Oai.

In An Khanh commune, the area of Bridge 72II on road 423 is flooded about 50cm. Vehicles from Quoc Oai to Hoai Duc, Ha Dong are guided to turn into Chuc Son or Thang Long Avenue. In the opposite direction, vehicles from Ha Dong, Hoai Duc to Quoc Oai are guided to Thang Long Avenue in the Van Con Post Office area.

In Duong Hoa commune, Yen So Bridge on road 422 is flooded about 40cm and is prohibited from traffic. The Department of Construction organizes alternative traffic diversion directions through National Highway 32, road 421 and Thang Long Avenue.

People's Committees of Quoc Oai, Kieu Phu, Phu Cat, An Khanh and Duong Hoa communes are requested to arrange 24/24 hour duty forces at flooded points, regulate traffic and prevent vehicles from entering dangerous areas.

The Traffic Police Department - Hanoi City Police presides over regulating and guiding traffic, handling cases of intentionally entering prohibited areas and limiting congestion on traffic diversion routes.

The plan is implemented from August 25 until the water recedes, traffic in the areas is guaranteed to be safe. People are advised to follow the instructions of functional forces, not to enter points that already have no-entry signs or dangerous warnings.
