Ring Road 2.5 section from Cau Giay street to Nguyen Trai street is divided into 6 sections, with a total length of more than 5km, cross-section from 40-50m.
To date, 2 sections have been completed and put into use, including the section from Duong Dinh Nghe street to Vu Pham Ham (about 1.47km long) and the section from Tran Duy Hung - Nguy Nhu Kon Tum about 1km long.

For the remaining 4 sections, the city has directed Cau Giay, Yen Hoa, and Thanh Xuan wards to deploy land acquisition and site clearance to complete construction in 2026.
Among these, there is a section from Cau Giay street to Dich Vong New Urban Area, 420m long, deployed many years ago but stalled due to site clearance problems.

Cau Giay Ward People's Committee said that it will coordinate with relevant units to inspect and consider stopping the supply of electricity, water, telecommunications and television information, and corrugated iron fences in the site clearance area.
In case of non-compliance with site handover, Cau Giay Ward People's Committee will assign relevant units to prepare dossiers and organize land recovery coercion according to regulations, to be completed in the first quarter of 2026.

The remaining 3 sections include the section from Dich Vong New Urban Area - Duong Dinh Nghe (Cau Giay ward); Vu Pham Ham - Tran Duy Hung (Yen Hoa ward); Nguy Nhu Kon Tum - Nguyen Trai (Thanh Xuan ward) with a total length of about 2.26km.
The city spent about 8,402 billion VND to implement 3 sections of the above route, of which construction costs are 488 billion VND, and the rest is site clearance.
Cau Giay, Yen Hoa, Thanh Xuan wards are assigned to be investors of compensation and support component projects, technical infrastructure works; construction investment component projects invested by the Hanoi Traffic Works Investment Management Board.
