On August 6, the Hanoi People's Committee issued Official Letter No. 4462/UBND-DT on the plan to organize the pilot operation of the electric bus route to serve people and tourists visiting tourist destinations in Hoan Kiem and Ba Dinh areas.
Considering the proposal of the Department of Construction in Report No. 190/BC-SXD dated July 30 on the proposal for a pilot organization of an electric bus route to serve people visiting Lang Bac, Hoan Kiem Lake and tourist attractions in Hoan Kiem and Ba Dinh areas, the City People's Committee agreed in principle with the proposal of the Department of Construction in Report No. 190/BC-SXD mentioned above.
At the same time, temporarily apply the unit price of public passenger transport services by bus using clean fuel (CNG) according to Decision No. 2307/QD-UBND dated May 25, 2021.
The pilot period is until December 31, 2025.
The Hanoi People's Committee assigned the Department of Construction to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Finance and related units to organize the pilot operation of the bus route in accordance with legal regulations, ensuring safety, efficiency, reducing personal vehicles, limiting congestion and pollution. Review and adjust operating targets in accordance with reality, ensuring efficiency, convenience, and attracting people to use the service.
Synthesize and evaluate the results of the pilot, consult, and report to the City People's Committee in December 2025.
