According to the Hanoi People's Committee, in the face of a number of fires at workplaces, archives, offices and agencies under the Hanoi People's Committee, ensuring fire safety is of great importance to protect State assets, records, documents and the safety of human life.
In order to ensure the safety of fire prevention and fighting at the offices of agencies, units, the City People's Committee requested the heads of the units to direct the departments, functional departments and district and commune People's Committees to improve their responsibilities in fire prevention and fighting, ensuring absolute safety of fire prevention and fighting at the offices of agencies and units assigned to be managed. Conducting the review of fire prevention and fighting conditions at the headquarters, and at the same time checking and promptly repairing and maintaining the fire protection systems equipped.
Strengthen the propagation and dissemination of legal education, knowledge of fire prevention and fighting to all officials and employees in the unit; Thoroughly grasp 100% of officials and employees in strictly implementing the work of ensuring safety on fire prevention and fighting, especially the use of fire sources, heat sources, equipment for fire and heat generation; Arrange records, neat documents ... in areas, working positions in agencies and units.
Along with that, strengthen self-inspection work, thereby promptly detecting and handling the most limitations such as safety conditions for roads, escape routes, preventing the spread of fire, and the operation of fire prevention and fighting and rescue vehicles.
Increase on-duty and on-duty forces; regularly organize inspections and strictly manage fire sources, heat sources, generating and heating equipment; regularly inspect and maintain power systems and electrical consumption equipment to ensure consistency with consumption capacity, replace old and damaged power lines, use equipment such as aptomat, bridge and sword... to cut off electricity when an incident occurs.
The City People's Committee requires absolutely no hastily connecting, using multiple devices in the same socket; strictly implement the turning off of electricity consumption devices when there is no need to use them.
Heads of units proactively develop and organize drills on fire fighting and rescue plans. When a fire or explosion occurs, there must be a mechanism to mobilize maximum forces and means to organize initial fire fighting and rescue, promoting the "four on-site" motto; at the same time, immediately notify the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force to coordinate in performing assigned tasks, thereby minimizing damage to both people and property caused by fire or explosion.
