At around 5am on May 21, people discovered smoke and fire rising at a temporary shelter at the end of lane 264 Ngoc Thuy - Long Bien District.
After receiving the report, the authorities quickly arrived at the scene to handle the situation.
Speaking with Lao Dong, Mr. Vu Trong Thu - Chairman of the People's Committee of Thuong Thanh Ward said that the fire broke out at around 5am at 156 (Group 1, Thuong Thanh Ward, end of Alley 264 Ngoc Thuy - Long Bien District). The fire area was a temporary hut of about 40 square meters of a house.
The temporary hut was built with a steel frame and corrugated iron roof, used as a place to look after ornamental plants.
Immediately after receiving the report from the people, Thuong Thanh Ward Police urgently mobilized forces CAP, the residential fire prevention team and 3 fire trucks from the Long Bien Fire Prevention and Fighting Team to the scene.
"Thanks to the timely and synchronous implementation of professional measures, by about 5:40 a.m. the same day, the fire was completely controlled and extinguished, not allowing it to spread to neighboring areas" - Mr. Thu informed.

There were no human casualties in the fire. Currently, the authorities are counting the level of property damage. Initially, it was determined that part of the hut and its items were burned down.
"The initial suspicion is that it may be due to an electrical short circuit because the homeowner said there were lights on to chase mosquitoes all night" - the leader informed.
