Accordingly, Vice Chairman of Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee Ho Huy Thanh requested the Department of Agriculture and Environment to focus on directing and organizing the implementation of the task "Inventory of water resources of Ha Tinh province, period up to 2025"; complete and report to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment and the Provincial People's Committee before June 30, 2026.
Preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies to advise competent authorities to issue and organize the implementation of the plan to inspect the compliance with the law on water resources in the province.
Focus on inspecting projects that exploit and use water resources to promptly detect and handle violations according to their authority or propose competent authorities to strictly handle violations, especially cases of water exploitation without a license, exploitation when the license has expired, and exploitation exceeding the water flow specified in the license.
Continue to strengthen the work of guiding and urging local authorities, organizations, individuals, and businesses in performing tasks in accordance with the law on water resources.
Proactively exchange information, coordinate with the Provincial Police and Provincial Inspectorate in inspection and examination of water resources.
The Provincial Police and Provincial Inspectorate closely coordinate with sectors and levels in inspecting and checking the compliance with the law on water resources in the area; promptly detect and strictly handle violations of the law on water resources according to the provisions of law.
The Department of Home Affairs shall preside over and coordinate with the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the Provincial Inspectorate and relevant agencies to advise the Provincial People's Committee to review and handle the responsibilities of relevant organizations and individuals who have not properly performed their assigned state management functions, leading to cases of illegal exploitation of water resources for a long time without being detected or handled.
Communes and wards strengthen the responsibility of state management of water resources in the area; proactively review, statistically, monitor, develop plans and organize inspections of projects with exploitation and use of water resources to promptly detect, handle or propose competent authorities to strictly handle violations.
Encourage people to detect and provide information about violations through hotlines or directly report to functional agencies for timely handling according to regulations.
