    On the morning of January 20, dense fog appeared in Ha Tinh, making it difficult for vehicles to move, forcing them to turn on their lights to ensure safety.

    According to Lao Dong Newspaper reporters, at 8am the fog was still thick. At a distance of 100m, it was difficult to detect vehicles ahead.

    This situation causes most vehicles to turn on their lights to move. Due to limited visibility, vehicles also move slowly to avoid traffic accidents.

    Mr. Le Van Quang (35 years old, resident of Tan Lam Huong commune, Ha Tinh city) driving a motorbike on National Highway 1, avoiding Ha Tinh city - shared: "The fog was so thick, I had to turn on the lights and drive slowly to ensure safety. It's been a long time since I've seen such thick fog."

    Mr. Tran Duc Ba - Director of the Hydrometeorological Station of Ha Tinh province - said that the cause of the dense fog was due to the weakening of cold air, causing the air layer below the ground to not rise in time, causing fog.
