On the morning of August 19, at bridges across the country, many key projects were started and inaugurated to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2. In Hung Yen, two large-scale projects have been implemented, marking a breakthrough in infrastructure development and caring for workers' lives.
In Pho Hien ward, the People's Committee of Hung Yen province started the project to build a road connecting cultural heritage tourism and economic development along the Red River. The project has a total investment of nearly VND9,300 billion, is about 55.68 km long, passing through 13 communes. The main route meets the standards of a level II plain road, with a design speed of 100 km/h; starting point at the Hung Yen - Hanoi border (Phung Cong commune), ending point at Tan Hung commune.
This is a key transport project, not only meeting the needs of transporting goods and travel of the people but also exploiting land funds on both sides of the route to develop industry, urban areas, tourism services, and attract investment.
The route plays a role in connecting heritages and spiritual tourism destinations along the Red River such as Thang Long - Pho Hien - Tam Chuc - Bai Dinh - Huong Pagoda; at the same time, connecting the Hanoi - Hung Yen - Ninh Binh traffic axis, contributing to the realization of the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term on synchronous infrastructure development.

Also on the morning of August 19, in Yen My commune, Hoa Phat Yen My Development Joint Stock Company started construction of a housing project for low-income people in Yen My II Industrial Park. The project has a total capital of more than VND 4,900 billion, an area of nearly 31 hectares, a scale of 27 apartment buildings with 9,000 apartments, meeting the needs of about 11,500 people, mainly workers working in Yen My II Industrial Park and neighboring areas.
In addition, the project also includes 250 townhouses with commercial, service items, cultural houses, health stations, schools, etc. The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2028, contributing to improving living conditions for workers.
