Recently, the Hai Phong Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board issued Official Dispatch No. 134/BQL-DAI dated March 4, 2026, requesting traffic diversion to serve the construction of the Bui Vien road and Vo Nguyen Giap road traffic intersection investment project.
At the request of the Management Board, the Department of Construction announced that from 0:00 on March 9, on Bui Vien street (direction from National Highway 10 to Dinh Vu area and vice versa), all types of vehicles are allowed to pass through the intersection. On Vo Nguyen Giap street, all vehicles are prohibited from passing through the Bui Vien - Vo Nguyen Giap intersection.
The Department announces traffic diversion for cars, trucks, and passenger cars traveling from the city center to Duong Kinh ward area according to the route: Vo Nguyen Giap street to Bui Vien - Vo Nguyen Giap intersection - turn right into Bui Vien street and turn around at the nearest median strip opening point, then enter Vo Nguyen Giap street - Vo Nguyen Giap bridge - DT. 353.
Direction from Duong Kinh ward to the city center, vehicles follow the route: Vo Nguyen Giap street to Bui Vien - Vo Nguyen Giap intersection - turn right into Bui Vien street and turn around at the nearest median strip opening point, then go into Vo Nguyen Giap street - city center.
rudimentary vehicles, 2-wheeled motorbikes, 3-wheeled motorbikes, motorbikes heading from the city center to Duong Kinh ward area move along the route Vo Nguyen Giap street - Thien Loi street (or alley 8/726 Vo Nguyen Giap street) - Truc Cat street - Bui Vien street - Vo Nguyen Giap street - DT. 353 (Pham Van Dong street).
In the area of Duong Kinh ward to the city center, the above vehicles go in the direction of Vo Nguyen Giap street - turn right into Bui Vien street - Thien Loi street (at the Rao bridge - Lach Tray street intersection) - Vo Nguyen Giap street - City center.
Vehicle drivers can choose to travel in both directions along the Lach Tray - Cau Rao - road 353 route to reduce pressure and prevent traffic congestion at Bui Vien and Vo Nguyen Giap intersections.
The Hai Phong Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board fully arranges a system of road traffic signs to organize traffic according to this notice, completing before 12:00 on March 8.
