On the morning of January 8, the Navy Command held a ceremony to inaugurate and hand over houses to the family of Ms. Le Thi Cam Van (26 years old, residing in Du Oai village, Tay Khanh Son commune, Khanh Hoa province) within the framework of the "Quang Trung Campaign".
Ms. Le Thi Cam Van's family is in particularly difficult circumstances, currently she lives alone, raising two young children.
The family's old house was heavily damaged due to rain and floods, not ensuring safe living conditions.

The new house was built by officers and soldiers of Brigade 957, Naval Region 4. The project has a construction area of nearly 40m2, including 2 floors.
The ground floor is designed as an open space, which can be used as a parking and common living space; the upper floor is the main living space, tiled, brick walls 1.5m high, tiled floor, arranged bedrooms and bathrooms, meeting basic living conditions for the family.
To complete the project, the unit mobilized about 20 officers and soldiers to participate with a total of more than 600 working days.
The construction process encountered many difficulties due to prolonged rainy weather and material scarcity, but officers and soldiers have made efforts to overcome it, determined to complete the project on schedule, ensuring quality.
According to the Naval Region 4 Command, so far the unit has completed and handed over 4 houses to people in Tay Khanh Son commune.
The remaining houses within the framework of the Quang Trung Campaign are being urgently constructed, striving to complete according to the set plan.
Speaking at the ceremony, Rear Admiral Pham Minh Tuan - Deputy Commander of the Navy emphasized that the deployment of the Quang Trung Campaign shows the spirit of responsibility and deep humanity of Navy officers and soldiers towards people in areas heavily affected by natural disasters, contributing to spreading the tradition of solidarity, affection, "national affection, compatriotism".
Touched when receiving a new house, Ms. Le Thi Cam Van expressed her gratitude for the timely care and support of the Party, State and Navy officers and soldiers, helping her family have more support to soon stabilize their lives.
On this occasion, the Naval Region 4 Command and agencies and units inside and outside the army presented many practical gifts such as washing machines, TVs, water purifiers... with a total value of more than 20 million VND, supporting Ms. Van's family in daily life.
