Two young men hospitalized after breaking a concrete pile on National Highway 1

Khanh Hoa - Two young men were thrown into roadside bushes after a motorbike suddenly crashed into a concrete pillar near the side of National Highway 1, passing through Ninh Hoa ward.

At noon on May 22, on National Highway 1, passing through Ha Thanh 2 residential group, Ninh Hoa ward, Khanh Hoa province, a traffic accident occurred, injuring two people who had to be hospitalized for emergency treatment.

According to initial information, Mr. Dang Ngoc H. (born in 2002, residing in Gia My village, Bac Ninh Hoa commune) was driving a motorbike with license plate 79R1-XXXX traveling in the direction of Ninh Hoa to Bac Ninh Hoa, carrying Mr. Le Bao Ph. (born in 1988, also residing in Gia My village, Bac Ninh Hoa commune).

When reaching Km1415+540 on National Highway 1, the motorbike suddenly rushed to the right and crashed head-on into pile H (concrete pillar) located next to the roadside.

The strong collision caused both people on the motorbike to be thrown into the roadside bushes and lie motionless. At the scene, the motorbike was heavily damaged, and the concrete piles were shattered.

The accident left Mr. H. slightly injured, while Mr. Ph. was injured and was supported by people and functional forces to be taken to Ninh Hoa Regional General Hospital for emergency treatment.

Currently, the cause of the incident is being further investigated and clarified by functional agencies.
