Information from the leaders of Thach Xuan Commune People's Committee said that a male student had just died while swimming at Khe Xai dam in the area.
Accordingly, on the afternoon of March 30, a group of students swam at Khe Xai dam. While swimming, male student N.Q. T (11th grade student, Phan Dinh Phung High School) drowned and died.
At about 6:30 pm on the same day, functional forces recovered the body of male student T and proceeded to hand it over to his family to take him back to his hometown in Duc Dong commune (Ha Tinh province) for burial.
According to the leader of Thach Xuan commune, the family circumstances of male student T are very difficult. His mother has passed away, his father went to work abroad, T is renting a room in Ha Huy Tap ward to go to school.
Leaders of Thach Xuan commune added that at noon on the same day, another drowning incident also occurred at Khe Xai dam.
The person who drowned was a male student of Ha Tinh Specialized High School. Fortunately, the victim was rescued early, and then transferred to the hospital for treatment, so he was out of danger.
