8th grade male student in Quang Tri drowned while swimming in lake

    Quang Tri - Accompanying a group of friends to Trang Bia Lake to swim, an 8th grade male student drowned and died.

    On the evening of March 30, Gio Linh Commune Police confirmed that a drowning incident had just occurred in the area, killing a student.

    Previously, at about 5 pm on the same day, in the lake area in Cam Pho village (Gio Linh commune), a group of students from Gio My Primary and Secondary School arranged to swim together.

    During swimming, a male student unfortunately drowned.

    Upon receiving the information, functional forces quickly deployed rescue operations.

    At about 6 pm on the same day, the Fire and Rescue Team of the Fire and Rescue Police Department - Quang Tri Provincial Police found the victim's body and brought it ashore.

    The victim was identified as L.V. L (born in 2012, residing in Phuoc Thi village, Gio Linh commune).

    According to Gio Linh Commune Police, 5 days earlier, the unit had organized drowning prevention propaganda at schools in the area.
