On April 23, information from the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police Department (PCCC and CNCH), Thanh Hoa Provincial Police said that an accident had just occurred on the Mai Son - National Highway 45 expressway, killing 2 people.
Previously, at around 5:05 a.m. the same day, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department received a report of an accident between two trucks (at Km332+50, the expressway from Hanoi to Nghe An - in Dong Tien commune, Trieu Son district), causing 2 victims to die and get trapped in the cabin.
Upon receiving the information, the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 1 mobilized a rescue vehicle and 6 officers and soldiers to be present at the scene to organize the rescue and bring the victims out.
At the scene, the head of the truck with control plate 73H-001.xx was deformed, the victim trapped deep inside the cabin. Shortly thereafter, the rescue force used the cutting equipment, breaking the door of the cabin and took the bodies of the two victims out.
The cause of the incident is currently being investigated and clarified.
