At the recent online meeting with the Government Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Son requested localities and relevant agencies to hand over the entire site to the contractor for the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang expressway construction before April 5, 2025.
Difficulties in materials such as earth, construction stone have been resolved by Tuyen Quang province to ensure meeting the needs of contractors.
By the end of March 2025, there are still some locations on the entire Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang expressway that have not been cleared in Ham Yen and Yen Son districts (about more than 500m). The progress reached 30.62% of the contract value, 4.36% behind the project progress contract.
The Chairman of Tuyen Quang Provincial People's Committee has requested Ham Yen, Yen Son districts and relevant agencies to speed up the construction of resettlement areas and issue Land Use Rights Certificates to households subject to relocation. Ensure items and conditions for people to be able to build houses.
On April 1, the People's Committee of Yen Son district reported on the project implementation progress, and the site clearance on this local route has completed the inventory of 100% of the areas that need site clearance.
Meanwhile, the site clearance at the resettlement areas has been 100% completed and handed over to the construction unit. 121 households subject to relocation have been handed over resettlement land.
Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper had many reports about the slow progress and infrastructure in disarray in the resettlement areas of Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang expressway and some related issues that have caused people to not want to move to the resettlement areas.
