On October 23, the Hue City Hydrometeorological Station said that in the past 24 hours (from 4:00 a.m. on October 22 to 4:00 a.m. on October 23), due to the impact of storm No. 12, Hue City experienced moderate rain, heavy rain, and very heavy rain in some places. Rainfall recorded at some locations: Phu Bai 126.8mm; Moonao 4: 100.4mm; Nam Dong: 124.8mm; Huong Phu: 110.4mm; Bach Ma National Park: 211.2mm.
Soil moisture models show that many areas in Hue City are close to or have reached a saturated state (over 80%), posing a high risk of landslides. It is forecasted that in the next 6 hours, Hue City will continue to have rain with accumulated rainfall from 10 - 20mm, some places over 50mm.

The authorities warn of the risk of flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides in the areas: Phu Loc, A Luoi, Chan May - Lang Co communes, Nam Dong... The level of natural disaster risk due to floods, landslides, and land subsidence is determined at level 1. Flash floods and landslides can cause great damage to the environment, civil works, traffic and production, threatening people's safety.
Typically, nearly 70 households in Tan An Hai village (Phu Loc commune, Hue city) are at risk of being isolated because the only road to the village is seriously eroded.
The Hue City Military Command mobilized 753 officers, soldiers and 92 vehicles to participate in storm response. Military forces (nearly 3,000 people) and police (about 2,000 people) are deployed on duty 24/7, ready to rescue, rescue and support people when situations arise.
