Dozens of Bru - Van Kieu ethnic households in Khe Ngang village, Truong Xuan commune (Quang Ninh district, Quang Binh) are day and night worried when the situation of landslides and rock rolling from high hills to residential areas shows increasingly serious signs.
From a poor land, thanks to afforestation, animal husbandry and rice cultivation, the people of Khe Ngang village have gradually stabilized their lives. However, recently, insecurity has been everywhere when many large rocks on the hill behind the village fell down, some of which were still stuck in the forest, hanging, threatening the safety of more than 20 households.

Mr. Ho Suu - Head of Khe Ngang village said that the above situation has been happening for a while and has reported to the local government to find a solution.
According to Mr. Pham Van Quang - Chairman of Truong Xuan Commune People's Committee, the authorities have recorded the reflection, sent forces to inspect the field and reported to superiors.
Mr. Nguyen Van Trong - Head of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Quang Ninh district added that the district is coordinating with specialized agencies to determine the cause of the landslide and propose a treatment plan to ensure the safety of people's lives and property.
