Leaders of the Chemical Trade Union have just presented funding support for the construction of a "Chemical Shelter" and visited workers in difficult circumstances.

On May 30, Mr. Nguyen Huy Thong, Chairman of the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union, said that on the occasion of Workers' Month and the Month of Action on occupational safety and hygiene in 2025, the Industry Trade Union has just organized a working delegation to Apatit Vietnam One Member Co., Ltd. to present funding support for the construction of "Chemical Shelter" and visit workers in difficult circumstances.

Accordingly, the mission came to award the "chemical shelter" support to Mr. Vu Van Tho's family, a railway transport branch - APATIT Vietnam Company Limited. Mr. Tho belongs to a difficult household with housing, currently having to rent a house. His family has a piece of land that is eligible to build houses but not enough funding. Facing these circumstances, he expressed his wish to be supported a part of the funding to borrow houses, stabilize his life, and be assured of his work. After surveying and capturing the situation, the Vietnam Chemical Industry Union proposed the Social Security Fund of the Group to support VND 50 million for Mr. Tho to build a 4 -level house.

Along with that, the working group visited two workers in difficult circumstances, Ms. Nguyen Hanh Phuong and Mr. Hoang Manh Cuong - workers at the Bac Nhac Son Team Factory. Both workers have children with disabilities and are renting a house.

At the families, leaders of the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union presented gifts, visited, shared difficulties and encouraged workers to continue to strive to overcome adversity and strive to complete assigned tasks well.

In response to the deep attention of the Vietnam Chemical Group, the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union and Apatit Vietnam Company Limited, the workers' families expressed their sincere thanks, considering this a great source of spiritual encouragement to help them overcome difficulties and rise up in life and work.

During Workers' Month 2025, the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union in coordination with the Group's Social Security Fund spent more than 1.5 billion VND to support workers in difficult circumstances and those who have had work-related accidents; organized more than 200 workers to go to nursing homes; and is implementing support documents to build 15 Chemical Shelters for many other cases in the industry.

These are practical activities to encourage, motivate, and share with disadvantaged workers during Workers' Month and towards the 4th Party Congress of the Vietnam Chemical Group, term 2025-2030. At the same time, it affirms the important role of the Trade Union organization in caring for the material and spiritual life, protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers - Mr. Nguyen Huy Thong shared.
