Dak Lak - The water overflowed quickly and suddenly caused dozens of kiosks at Hoa Thinh market to be submerged in water, causing heavy damage to traders.

On November 24, Mr. Le Chi Hoai - Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoa Thinh Commune (Dak Lak Province) - said that the damage caused by floods to the locality was huge. Currently, the commune is conducting statistics and does not have an official figure, including 39 kiosks at the market.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Tran - a trader at Hoa Thinh market, and her family are moving their belongings after the terrible flood. Fatigue and anxiety were evident on the faces of her and other family members.

My family has lived here for many generations, but has never seen such a devastating scene. Water from upstream poured down loudly at night, unable to react. On rising days, the family had to climb to the roof to take shelter. All the goods were soaked in water. I estimate the damage to be about 500 million VND" - Ms. Tran confided.

In the same situation, trader Nguyen Thi Thu Huong also had to hire someone to clean up the kiosk of clothes soaked in mud. Every time she passed by, seeing tons of clothes with glitter, her tears fell.

"Selling is a source of life, the only hope to make money for my family. But in just a short time, all assets were gone, the estimated damage was about 1 billion VND" - Ms. Huong said chokingly.
