According to information from the People's Committee of Nam Det commune, Bac Ha district, due to prolonged heavy rain, at around 5am this morning (September 21), 3 large landslides appeared on the road connecting National Highway 4E to the commune center, completely cutting off traffic.
Through initial review, by 9:00 a.m. this morning, there were 3 landslides on the route to Nam Det commune; of which, the largest landslide occurred at Km4 (in Goc Dao village, Bao Nhai commune).
Here, thousands of cubic meters of soil and rock from the positive slope have completely buried the roadbed.
Currently, the Economic, Infrastructure and Urban Affairs Department of Bac Ha district is coordinating with the People's Committee of Nam Det commune to deploy vehicles, machinery and human resources to overcome landslides and soon reopen the route to serve people's travel.
